You Know the One Thing That Would Make John Wick Even Cooler? Lightsabers.

Considering its origins as a pretty straightforward revenge story, the John Wick action movie franchise could easily have continued churning out boilerplate sequels. Instead, it has swiftly created a fictional world steeped in arcane lore which becomes <a href="https://www.menshealth.com/entertainment/a29413877/john-wick-ballerina-female-assasin-spinoff-len-wi...

So, in a move which absolutely nobody asked for but yielded some pretty amazing results, special effects YouTube channel ImmersionVFX put a lightsaber in Keanu Reeves' hand. Using footage from the most recent installment, John Wick Chapter 3 - Parabellum, editors digitally inserted lightsabers into a series of sword fights from the movie, turning what was already a hi-octane thrill ride into a neon-infused glimpse at just how well-suited the preternaturally chill Keanu would be to playing a Jedi if the inclination ever arose.

First up is a chase scene in which John is pursued by what appear to be a group of Sith on motorcycles. Sith! On! Motorbikes! Come on, you have to admit that's cooler than the fat amount of nothing the Knights of Ren ended up doing in the sequel trilogy. That sequence is followed by a penthouse confrontation with Zero (Mark Dacascos), which has all the villainous taunting and twirling swordsmanship you might expect to see from an epic climax featuring Darth Vader or Palpatine .

If Disney ever get stuck for ideas, they could do worse than simply cast Keanu Reeves as a lightsaber-wielding Jedi taking on a seemingly endless horde of bad guys; he's already proven this is enough to carry a wildly popular cinematic universe.
