A popular Nigerian gay rights activist will be walking down the aisle soon.
Bisi Alimi who became popular for being the first Nigerian to open up about his sexuality, got engaged to his boyfriend, Anthony, on Thursday, September 10.

Alimi shared the news with his Twitter followers which was followed with numerous congratulatory messages.
The activist also announced that the wedding will be holding in 2016, posting a thank you tweet which read:
