  • 1 1/2 cups almond milk
  • 5-6 medjool dates
  • 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons orange zest
  • 1 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/3 cup cacao butter
  • 1 cup hazelnuts

Method

Note: You will need a “flax egg” which can be prepared by mixing 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed with 2.5 tablespoons of water and letting it sit for 5 minutes to thicken into the perfect egg substitute.
