Check out three interesting African tradition you probably never heard about.

    This is a Southern African tradition which involves a young boy proving his manhood.

    During the Khweta circumcision ceremony, boys of different ages live in isolation during the winter months, and take orders from their masters, who aim at strengthening their stamina.

      This is practised in the Sudanese Latuka tribe, and involves a man kidnapping his intended bride.

      The tradition also entails the bride's father beating up the potential groom as a sign of his acceptance of the union.

        This is practised in Ethiopian Hamer tribe, and involves young men jumping and landing on the back of a bull to prove their manhood.

        This is usually done by the men in nude.
