According to Accra-based Starr FM, the transferred directors have one week to report to their new location or be sanctioned.

One of the affected directors who spoke on condition of anonymity said they have not been given transfer grants to ensure their movement.
He added that they suspect ill-motives in the action that has been taken by their management.
However, a Deputy Director of NADMO Abu Ramadan said all the transferred officers were serving in acting capacity and have been replaced with substantive officers. He nonetheless said there will be implications if the officers refuse to report to their new stations.

âYou must report at your new duty post and begin working when the transfer grant is paid, wherever you took money from to enable you to move to your new post, you go and replace it. But you canât use the transfer grant issue as a basis for not reporting at your new post. We work with laws, the laws says if you absent yourself for ten clear working days without any excuse or permission you automatically forfeit your job.â
âOn the basis of this law if you have a job and committed to doing it well to develop this country, if youâve been asked to move to Kadjebi and youâre even in Sandema, make sure that even though the transfer grant has not been paid, because itâs being processed, you make sure you report at your new place,â he told Accra-based Kasapa FM.
