American multiple grandslam winner Serena Williams is set to launch her sneaker line with sports wear giants, Nike.
The surprise announcement was made on the Instagram page of the 33-year-old who collaborated with Nike to curate a trio of sneakers for their 'Greatness Collection' in honor of her iconic tennis career.
The Nike Air Max 1 Ultra, Nike Roshe LD-1000 and NikeCourt Flare were the chosen sneaker silhouettes for the collection, boasting of slick designs like black and white marbleized and leopard prints.

The kicks also feature Williams’ favorite affirmation reproduced in her own handwriting on the insole: “You are strong, powerful, and … beautiful!”
Serena’s 'Greatness Collection' will be available on Thursday, September 3 at Nike stores and online.
Serena also wore the new kicks at her first game of the ongoing US Open where she is set to make history as the first player to win all four Majors of the season since German legend Steffi Graf back in 1988.
Williams was leading 6-0 2-0 when Diatchenko retired, having struggled throughout with injury.
