The Police PRO explained that they will have to examine the video very carefully since it could have been doctored.
âI have seen the video I don't know the circumstance under which the video was shot. For all we know it could have been tailored to create an impression,â he said.
A video of Shatta Wale was posted online in which the artiste is seen firing gunshots while mentioning the names of top Nigerians artistes Wizkid, Patoranking and Timaya.
Entertainment Critics say his unfortunate action could spark unnecessary tension between Ghanaian and Nigerian artistes and in the process mar the unity that has existed between musicians from the two West Africa countries.

Speaking on Accra-based Starr FM Bola Ray revealed that he personally called up Shatta Wale and rebuked him for his action.
âI called him up on Saturday and I had some strong words for him. Together with Kwami Sefa Kayi for 30 minutes, we were on the phone with him and I think that is so bad, uncalled for, uncultured and I condemn it. Yes, he says heâs going to apologise and Iâm waiting for him to do that. I donât mince words and Iâm saying it for the first time on radio that, I did that. I didnât mince words at all and I think that from how he came about, he was remorseful about it and says he was justâŚbut I wonât go into details.â
Kwami Sefa Kayi and Bola Ray and are two great media personalities who Shatta Wale has immense respect for, and this is not the first time the duo have publicly condemned and advised him.
