Black Stars stay put in FIFA rankings

That means the Black Stars still maintained their position in Africa as the third best country, behind Cote d’Ivoire (19th) and Algeria (33rd).

Ghana remain in 33rd place in the latest FIFA rankings for the month of January.

The ranking remains largely unchanged, with Avram Grant’s side staying in 33rd spot, Italy 15place and Ireland still in 31.

However, Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s Sweden have moved above Poland into 34 place in the latest update, which was released today.
