Were constantly told that more complicated is better. Were told that to get fit we need special equipment. And that the reason we are unfit is because we dont have a gym membership, or a special pull-up bar, or some fancy set of dumbbells.
In my career Ive done it all. Ive wrestled at an extremely high level, Ive been ranked second in the World for Kickboxing, Ive been a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu World Champion, and Ive fought in the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
Im the first person to preach about dedication. In over 25 years of training I have almost never missed a workout. In rain or shine, sickness or health, I have always been able to figure out how I could fit the work in.
Getting older doesnt mean you have to stop training or that you have to give up on your current level of fitness. There are numerous examples of people whove been able to maintain a high level of fitness into their later years.
