I’m writing this on behalf of a dear friend who is devastated and she really needs someone to talk to.

She had her one and only abortion at the age of 16 because she was naive and not prepared for it. Fast forward to present day, 12 years after, she's so in a very serious relationship which will definitely lead to marriage and her fiancé has asked her before if she has ever had an abortion before and she denied it jokingly.

I think your friend needs to tell her boyfriend the truth. Yes, it would be difficult, scary and would be a huge risk to take but it is the right thing to do.

I think you have an easy decision to make here and for very obvious reasons.

I hate to point it out to you, but the fact that you met him online, you’ve only seen him once, and have been ‘dating’ for just one month means that he is not so serious about you. If it’s been such a short time and he’s already doing all of this, you should really not be sweating it at all.

My advice is to block him, block all communication channels, stop picking his calls, refrain yourself from reaching out and allow yourself detox your system of him.

He doesn’t seem interested in being with you, or bothered about losing you. That should tell you all you need to know.

For seven years, this woman has been dealing with emotional torture, lack of effort and terrible sex. Now she wants out -  alongside her babies.

So, in my opinion, get that man to a marriage counselor or whatever that will ensure that he never lays his hands on you again. And I only say that because I don’t want you to throw in the towel without trying to salvage what’s left of the relationship.

If he keeps hitting you, then you have no business being in that marriage. Nothing should make you stay there. Not your kids, not to save face, not for any reason. Your life and well-being and continued existence is more important than any of that.

A relationship can be really tough, no one really knows how it ends from the beginning. If things are done right, you'll get good results otherwise it doesn't end well.

I need you to think about this, what exactly do you want from this your current relationship? Once you've established that then the rest will start falling into place.

You need to see your relationship from another perspective and not just yours. How long did you know this guy before you decided to date him? Did you have this same feeling that he 'just wants to play' before agreeing to date him? Did you decide to have sex with him because you felt your relationship would eventually lead to marriage? Did you watch his attitude closely before having those thoughts?

I have been in this relationship for a couple of months now.

Initially she seemed to be all I ever wanted and hoped for, but at some point she started with complaints and gave threats of leaving to which I pleaded because I’ve always wanted the relationship to work.

We argued most times over things that are yet to happen.

I started getting paranoid and asked questions like “can you ever cheat on me?” and I get so furious when she replies with stuff like “you never can tell, things happen” or “If you do not give me reasons to, why should I?”

I believe cheating on a partner is never a mistake and no one in his right sense should want to do that to someone they proclaim to be in love with. It should not even be as excuse for a revenge in my opinion

Likewise I’d like to know how open one should be in a relationship. I know phones are private properties but how private can it be? Why should we have passwords?

Why should my partner feel so furious when I try checking Whatsapp on her phone, why can’t she talk to most people she refers to as her male friends in my presence?

I’d like to state that forcing someone or pleading with them to stay in a relationship is never a good move, and you might never enjoy that relationship.

Loving someone/being in a relationship with them requires all the attention and dedication possible. So, when someone’s mind is not in a relationship, how does that even work?

You surely must have heard before that being in a relationship out of pity isn’t a cool thing, so if your girlfriend says she’s fed up and wants to leave, chances are that her mind is really and truly out of it, and begging her not to leave you only gives her all the power over you.

You might be better served letting her go. Let someone remain with you because they want to, not because they pity you. Most times, you won’t get anything good out of that relationship.

Talk to him about it. I think this shouldn’t be more difficult than it really has to be.

Deal with it by asking him why he does not sext with you. Make him know that you do not mind that.

It is actually possible that he is avoiding this type of conversation with you because he fears you may not like it. By speaking to him about it, telling him it's fine to sext and talk dirty with you and actually angling yourself in a manner that encourages him to be free enough to explore this option with you, you may find that what you think is an issue might actually be none at all.

On the flipside, you could find out, after your conversation with him, that he is doing it out of utter selfish interests that has nothing to do with you.

In any case, you have to tell him to desist from it immediately and if he refuses to listen to you, I see no reason why you should continue being with him.

I’m guessing you do not like being with cheating men; because that is what he is doing by have those intimate sexual conversations with other woman.
