<p>Kobe Bryant wrapped up his career in 2016, a Hall-of-Fame journey that started with the 1996 NBA draft, one of the best drafts of all time.</p>

<p>In addition to producing Kobe, one of the greatest players ever, it also gave us one of the most entertaining players ever in Allen Iverson, and a host of future Hall of Famers.</p>

<p>Today, many of these players are still involved in basketball in some way. But there's also a former math teacher, TV analysts, a nervous dressage parent, and one who was still playing basketball in 2018.</p>

<h1> Allen Iverson was picked first overall by the Philadelphia 76ers. </h1>

<h1> He has had financial and personal issues since retiring. But he still does Reebok commercials, promotes the shoes in China, and has served as a coach in Ice Cubes Big3 basketball league. He also reportedly has a $32 million trust fund, and was recently elected to the Basketball Hall of Fame. </h1>

<p>Week 14 of the NFL season is here, and Cortana is back to make picks in a head-to-head showdown with Elo.</p>

<p>We looked at two popular systems used to pick NFL games: <a id="1b72f574-73ae-3c60-add3-56333e4ee0ba" href="https://www.bing.com/search?q=nfl+schedule&amp;qs=n&amp;form=QBLH&amp;sp=-1&amp;pq=nfl+schedule&amp;sc=9-5&amp;sk=&amp;cvid=456F854CF7C34C74882A7805705880FB">  Cortana </a> , Microsoft's digital assistant, and <a id="b4ea7f1f-09c2-3c73-a126-a2547371ef05" href="https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/2018-nfl-predictions/?ex_cid=rrpromo">  Elo </a> , the modeling system used by Nate Silver's data-journalism site, FiveThirtyEight.</p>

<p>In both cases, the computers are picking outright winners and not against the spread. Each gives a likelihood that a team will win, however, which in theory could help measure the strength of certain lines.</p>

<p>Cortana is off to a strong start this season, correctly picking 67% of the games, including a 10-6 record in Week 13. Elo has nailed 62% overall.</p>

<p>But not all teams pay their top players the way the Golden State Warriors pay Curry or the way the Los Angeles Lakers pay LeBron James.</p>

<p>In all, 11 players are making at least $30 million this season, and 26 teams have at least one player making at least $20 million. And then there are the Sacramento Kings who have nobody making $12 million.</p>

He grew into a max-contract player with the Heat but then fell off a bit in 2017-18, leaving many to think the Heat were stuck with a contract nobody would want.</p>

<p><strong> One thing to know </strong> : Before the season, Davis switched agencies and signed with Klutch Sports Group, the agency led by Rich Paul, a friend and associate of LeBron James. Many believe it is now inevitable that Davis will end up on the Lakers. Whether or not that is true, the Pelicans should probably be worried.</p>

<p>Whether it is a lack of talent, some key injuries, or just plain ol' bad luck, there are already 11 teams that have been effectively eliminated from playoff contention. That means more than one-third of the league has no realistic shot at postseason glory.</p>

<p>Here are the 11 teams that won't make the playoffs, ranked by the chances to receive the first pick in the 2019 draft.</p>
