LONDON — There’s no more telling sight in “Bitter Wheat,” the David Mamet play that opened Wednesday at the Garrick Theater in London, than a moment during the second act in which John Malkovich is flat on his back, flailing like a drowning man gasping for air.
The three-character play, and director Vicky Featherstone’s pitch-perfect production, are on the main stage of the Royal Court Theater through Jan. 26.
