On Wednesday, November 24, 2021, Michael shared a photo of himself happy and proudly waving the U.S. flag. He announced that he’d completed his naturalization ceremony in Los Angeles.

The comedian and actor who couldn’t hold on to his joy stated that he can now smile after being granted U.S. citizenship.

Michael Blackson is an American- Ghanaian- Liberian actor and comedian based in the United States.

He displayed his green card on his Instagram page, saying ‘America is the greatest country in the world, and that’s why everybody comes here for an opportunity.’

In his post, he said: “They finally made me an American citizen. Only foreigners will understand why I’m smiling and what we go through to get a green card or citizenship.”

Michael, however, did not explain why it took him over thirty (30) years to gain U.S. citizenship, but he made it clear that “this country has been nothing but a blessing.”

He added that he would apply for welfare immediately he’s sworn in.

“I’m showing ya this because I have to turn this in back to the U.S. immigration today at 10 in Los Angeles. For those who have no idea what this is, it's a green card and now you know green card is not green lol," his post continues.

"I’ve made a living making fun of America and Americans but all jokes aside America is by far the greatest country in the world and that’s why everyone comes here for an opportunity . Today I’m turning in my green card to replace it with an American citizenship certificate . I’m not going to get into details why it took over 30 years to finally become a citizen but one reason was I just loved being an African and wanted to stay authentic .&nbsp;

This country has been nothing but a blessing to me, especially my Black Americans who embraced me from the first time they saw me on comic view and the movie next Friday , can’t forget my Latin Americans who also showed me love and followed by Asian Americans , Indian America then about 5 years ago. White Americans came on board. I say that because that’s what makes America great is a whole bunch of people from different parts of the world came to settle in one place and that’s why this is the best country in the world . Can’t wait to swear in so I can apply for welfare," he added.

Comedian Michael Blackson is officially a citizen of the United States of America after he has failed to become a citizen there for thirty (30) years.

On Monday, November 15, 2021, the Reggae young star took to her official Twitter page to register her discomfort about some stressful issues with regards to her personal love life, sexuality, and career that may threaten her life.

Lila Iké, in her tweets, discloses that she fears her life is in danger and alleges being raped and molested.

The reggae singer made public her sexuality which may seem to be a very controversial topic in the reggae fraternity.&nbsp;

She tweeted: “I am Lila Ike. I am into women, and I’ve been making reggae music.”&nbsp;

The reggae dancehall fraternity, over the years, has alienated itself from any topic reggae the LGBTQI+ community.&nbsp;

Lila Iké believes her unauthorised pictures might be posted, which is part of a ploy to end her musical career abruptly.&nbsp;

Management of Lila Iké is yet to issue an official statement regarding her rant on Twitter.

Lila Ike is a Jamaican Reggae artiste with elements of soul, hip-hop and dancehall. The free-spirited and easy-going artiste has released a couple of smooth songs through In Digg Nation Collective, a record label and talent pool for Jamaican creatives, which reggae star Protoje founded.&nbsp;

In August, the rising Jamaican star released the official visuals to her single “Batty Rider Shorts,” which has a clear message against sex predators and organised crime.&nbsp;

Inspired by her personal story observed in her community, Lila cries out for help from authorities to protect children from sexual predators and crime and violence.&nbsp;

The multi-talented Lila Ike has released strings of songs that fused contemporary reggae with elements of soul, hip-hop and dancehall. She has earned critical acclaim from Complex, BBC 1xtra, NYLON, Flaunt, Essence, The FADER and Refinery29 as an artist to watch. She won a Grammy award for her contribution to Koffee’s “Toast” song.

Jamaican Reggae star Lila Ike has made some shocking revelations about her personal life.&nbsp;

Speaking about her journey on how she entered the movie industry during an interview with Nana Romeo on Accra FM, she disclosed: “I met a woman who used to sell at the Kaneshie Market called Auntie Rose (May her soul Rest In Peace). So she asked to take me to Grace Omarbo with the popular name 'Maame Dokonu' and truly she took me to her."

"So she asked me to dance which I did, right over there she liked me and took me as her daughter, I didn’t really go through the audition process."

Adwoa smart said a lot about her life but mid in her interview, she broke down because she seemed to have been through a lot in life.

Asking her follow-up questions, she confirmed that she lives in a family house and did not have her own house to stay, and wished she had her own house.

She added she was grateful for the life God has given her, but sometimes the thing that gets her emotional is that she does not have a child.

She said this is because she lost her child, she never got married, and does not have a house and a car. For this reason, she pleads with fellow Ghanaians to help her get a house.

According to her, she sometimes wanted to help people who were homeless out, but then she does not have a place to stay herself.

She saw the need to own her own house because she had nephews and nieces who would want to come to her.

She said having her own house has always been her dream so at least she could have something to boast of when she gets to her old age.

She said the only thing she could boast of as a veteran actress is travelling abroad and returning to Ghana.
