A Ghanaian diplomat who courted controversy after saying he would pay attention to members of his political party rather than other Ghanaians seems to be working hard to fix his image.
The diplomat has had a tough week
George Ayisi-Boateng, Ghana’s High Commissioner to South Africa, has since retracted and apologised for his comments but pressure is still on from several quarters for the president of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to fire him.
Ayisi-Boateng has since shared a photo of himself with members of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) as he bids to make up for his gaffe.
