Salah is a benevolent sportsman and this is why

Salah’s act of benevolence is coming just after he funded a bone marrow transplant for a young boy in Egypt.

Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah has demonstrated that he is a benevolent sportsman when he donated £500,000 to an Egyptian children’s hospital.

The 25-year-old current African best footballer of the year reportedly donated a staggering 12 million Egyptian pounds to Cairo's 57357 Children's Hospital.

Salah's donation, according to a report by UK Sun, will go towards buying medical equipment used to treat young cancer sufferers in the Children’s hospital.

Salah's generous donation was revealed on social media by Mostafa Zamzam, chief trustee of a charity linked to the hospital.

With 32 goals in 38 games this season, the Liverpool striker joined the Reds after Liverpool paid Roma a club record £36.9m in 2017 summer.
