The targeted players are Manchester United's talented teenager, Timothy Fosu Mensah, Hamburg's Gideon Jung, Inaki Williams of Atletico Bilbao and Dennis Appiah of Anderlecht.

Though there had been previous reports of interests, there seems to be a concrete agreement in place now by the association to convince the players of the benefits of switching nationalities. Association sources have confirmed an approach to Williams through his parents while Ghana's new assistant coach Ibrahim Tanko has been handed the task of convincing the Germany-born Jung.
