It is no doubt that Africa is home to paradisaical stretches of sand and water, whether on the Atlantic or Indian Oceans, or even near freshwater lakes.
The World Travel Awards recently ranked Kenya's Diani beach as the leading beach destination in Africa. It is the fourth time in a row that Diani picked up the award, beating competition from beaches in South Africa, Mozambique, Zanzibar and Egypt.
