The National chairman of the Convention People’s Party (CPP), Prof Edmund Delle, has warned that the party will not condone internal saboteurs whose intent is to destroy the success of the party.

Addressing party supporters in Northern Region capital Tamale over the weekend, Prof Delle uged supporters to remain united for victory in the upcoming November 7 polls.

“The problems of the CPP come from within not without. We must brace ourselves together and don’t let any traitor come and destroy that unity that we are trying to build. All evil spirits shall be buried in Tamale here,”  he added.

The CPP faced some internal wrangling after Samia Yaaba Nkrumah accused the flagbearer, Ivor Greenstreet of vote-buying in the just ended party’s presidential primary.

Ivor Greenstreet, who subsequently denied the allegations, urged party supporters in Tamale to vote massively for him in the General elections.

“We are here to send a message to the whole of Ghana loud and clear that the CPP is born again and alive and kicking. You know we have had our problems in the past and because of that we know that you at the grassroots of the party have not been happy,” the flagbearer of the party added.
