The English Premier League is here again and the excitement is getting thicker after the opening day on Saturday, August 7.

These are five quick facts about the EPL ahead of the match day 2 fixtures.

Manchester United:

Manchester United Louis van Gaal have dropped want-away goalkeeper David de Gea for their second game away at Aston Villa.

United have had clean sheets in their last three games without the goalkeeper and Sergio Romero who was impressive against Tottenham would want to continue in that form.

Łukasz Fabiański

Swansea goalkeeper Łukasz Fabiański has made 139 saves since 2014 August more than any other goalkeeper in the English Premier League.

The Polish goalkeeper would hope to continue in that form when he faces Newcastle United's frontline.

Arsenal

Arsenal have won 16 points out of a possible 18 in their last six away game in the EPL.

The run of five away wins and one draw started against next opponent Crystal Palace and the Gunners would love to continue with that run after losing their first game against West Ham.

Chelsea

EPL defending champions Chelsea are unbeaten in their last 28 august fixture.

Jose Mourinho's men have a real task in their hands ahead of their visit to 2014 EPL Champions, Manchester City.

Chelsea drew their opening game at home to Swansea 2-2.

Simon Mignolet

Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet tops the 2015 clean sheet with 10 clean and would hope to continue with that run against Bournemouth.
