Rappers react to Stonebwoy, Sarkodie & Fuse ODG’s BET Awards nominations

D-Black, Edem and Obrafour have congratulated their colleague musicians Stonebwoy, Sarkodie and Fuse ODG for their nominations at the 15th edition of BET Awards.

 

Ghanaian multiple award winning rappers, Desmond Blackmore aka D-Black, Denning Edem Hotor aka Edem and Michael Elliot Kwabena Okyere Darko aka Obrafour have congratulated their colleague musicians Stonebwoy, Sarkodie and Fuse ODG for their nominations at the 15th edition of BET Awards.

Congratulations messages tweeted by the artistes read:

D-Black: “Congrats to ma gees @stonebwoyb and @sarkodie @BET_Intl Best African Act nominees from Ghana!!!”

Obrafour: “Congrats @sarkodie x @stonebwoyb x @FuseODG  #BETAwards15”

Stonebwoy and  Sarkodie were nominated in the "Best International Act: Africa" category alongside two South Africans: AKA and The Soil, Congolese singer Fally Ipupa, Kenyan Afro-Pop band Sauti Sol, and two Nigerian Pop stars: Wizkid and Yemi Alade.

Ghanaian based in the UK Afro-pop star, Fuse ODG was also nominated in the "Best International Act: UK" category alongside fellow UK stas fka Twigs, Lethal Bizzle, Little Simz, Mnek and Stormzy.

The main event is slated for June 28, 2015 at Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.
