Ghanaian rapper, M.anifest, has disclosed that a television station rejected visuals of his ‘W’ani Aba’ single.

In a Facebook post, M.anifest stated that the basis for the rejection was that the music video was “not up to their standard”.

He continued that he decided to watch videos aired on the channel only to realise that his video was far better than some of them.

“A television station told us the w’ani aba video was not up to their standard so they rejected it. Out of curiosity (and frankly accidentally) I spent a little on their channel to see what videos they air that meet the “standard.” I can say with certainty w’ani abi was better than most of, if not all, the videos I saw on there,” portions of his post read.

Kwame Ametepe Tsikata, as known in real life, however mentioned that he was never discouraged by the development.

“I laughed and kept it moving. You have to understand and believe in your vision and purpose. Be intentional and do it for the people not for the gatekeepers. May the vim lead you to greatness in whatever you do this week,” he noted.
