The Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology held (MEST) had held an informal chat, its first event in Lagos.
Speakers at the event include: Alexandra (Lexi) Novitske (Singularity Investments), Dan Marom (Irrational innovations), Ngozi Dozie (Kaizen Ventures), Folabi Esan (Adlevo Capital),Segun Adeyemi (Amplify), Jason Njoku (Founder of iROKO), Omobola Johnson (Former Minister of Communication Technology) and Yele Bademosi (Country Manager of Starta). The evening talks was moderated by MEST Lagos Incubator General Manager and founder of Malaik, Neku Atawodi.
MEST entrepreneurs have been selected by American president, Barrack Obama to represent at the US-Africa Leaders Summit in Washington, D.C. and have also been named Mandela Washington Fellows, a flagship program of Obama’s Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI). As its influence and scope of operations expand, MEST will be launching incubators across Africa, starting with Lagos.
