Senegal and Cote D’ Ivoire have presented relief items to the Ghanaian government as support for victims of the June 3 floods and inferno.
The items presented by the two West African countries include a medical consignment.

The inferno and floods has resulted in over 200 deaths. Survivors of the disaster were sent to various hospitals in the nation’s capital, Accra.
Dr. L. A. Obeng, Medical Director at Ridge Hospital has confirmed that sixteen patients have been discharged while the rest are responding to treatment. Seventeen patients have also been discharged from the 37 Military Hospital, Deputy Public Relations in Charge of Protocol at the Ghana Armed Forces, Major Evelyn Asamoah has confirmed.
