Kotoko Libyan Burger’s beat G6 champions on penalties

The Kotoko team that travelled to Libya managed to beat their counterparts that stayed at home and won the G6 tournament

The First Trust GHALCA 6 champions lost the friendly encounter arranged by their technical team and management of Kotoko against their compatriots who engaged Al Ittihad in Libya two weeks ago.

Although, the Kotoko team that won the G6 were the better side in the evening, the Libyan Burgers emerged victors in the marathon penalty shootout at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, Kumasi on Sunday

The G6 champions had the advantage twice to carry the day, after Frank Sarfo Gyamfi missed his kick for the Libyan Burgers, but Ernest Sowah missed the final of the 5 compulsory penalties from the G6 champions to call for a restart of the penalty kick.

Ahmed Adams again missed for the Libyan Burgers and once again the G6 Champions failed to capitalized on that as Mandela missed.
