Kotoko reject Dreams FC’s bid for Dauda Mohammed

The Porcupine Wariiors say ‘NO’ to the Ghana Premier League debutants’ transfer request for the teenager

Kurt Okraku, the Executive Chairman of Dreams FC expressed interest in Dauda Mohammed, after watching him put up a nice display against Hearts of Oak at the Ohene Djan Sporst Stadium on match day 10 of the Ghana Premier League.

Kurt followed it with an official bid to Kumasi Asante Kotoko for the release of the player, but the Porcupine Warriors have rejected it.

“There is no way we will sell Dauda Mohammed to Dreams FC. Even if they decide to give us $100,000. The player won’t even agree to it, because to move from Kotoko to Dreams FC is a sort of demotion,” he told Nhyira FM.

Dauda Mohammed has been the live wire of Kotoko, following his rise to fame last season and has continued his impressive form last season, despite a poor start to the ongoing season, having scored 4 goals in his last 5 league games.
