Former Borussia Dortmund coach considering Liverpool

Jurgen Klopp have also been reportedly targeted by Liverpool owners to replace Brendan Rodgers
 
 

As the pressure mounts for Liverpool manager, Brendan Rodgers, former Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp is said to be considering taking his job.

Liverpool owners John W Henry and the Fenway Sports Group (FSG) are said to have started looking for possible replacement for Rodgers after losing faith on the Irish manager.

Former is said to have been contacted along with Kloop.

According to Daily Mail, Klopp would demand the end of Liverpool's transfer committee if he is to succeed Rodgers as Liverpool manager.

The German tactician who quit Dortmund last season has also made it clear he would only be interested in ending his sabbatical by taking a job at Anfield if he is in charge of transfers rather than a committee.

Klopp has alos been tipped to replace Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola if the Spaniard chose to leave the Bundesliga champions at the end of his contract.

Guardiola's existing deal with Bayern is due to expire at the end of the 2015-16 campaign and he has so far been in no rush to open talks over a renewal.

Klopp has been enjoying a sabbatical since leaving Dortmund at the end of last season.
