Ghana have moved up a place in the FIFA rankings.
The rankings which were released in the month of November had Ghana placed at 51st in the world.

The new one released has Ghana moving up to 50th position with West African Neighbours Nigeria falling into 51st.

Senegal remains the top ranked African side with Tunisia, Egypt DR Congo and Morocco following suit to complete the Top 5.

Germany are still the number one ranked team by FIFA with Brazil, Portugal, Argentina and Belgium following in that order.
Nigeria are the only team outside the top 5 ranked teams in Africa going to the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
