Ethiopia have finally settled in a hotel of their choice after rejecting Noda Hotel, which was arranged for them by the Ghana Football Association.
According to the reports, the Ethiopians who arrived in Kumasi on Thursday were not satisfied with the facilities at the Noda Hotel off the Kumasi Egyeso Road.
Hence, they chose to settle on the Royal Lamerta Hotel late on Thursday night after kicking against residing in the Noda Hotel.
In an interview with their leader of delegation for the senior national male football team of Ethiopia, he said "Air conditions at the rooms are not working so we have to settle somewhere so as to make our leaving comfortable."
"The distance from hotel to Stadium is far which will not help matters’’ he added.
They requested for Golden Tulip and Golden Bean Hotel but they were told that there are no rooms available.
It was further reported that players and officials alike were stranded at the premises of Royal Lamerta Hotel for hours before lodging after their first training.
It would be recalled that the Pharaohs of Egypt on October, 2013 resided in the Noda Hotel when Ghana walloped them 6-1 in the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers
