Police arrest three thieves at Atomic gas explosion site

Deputy Public Relations Officer of the Police Service, DSP Shellia Abayie Buckman confirmed the arrest to Adom News.

Three persons suspected to be thieves have been picked up by the police at the scene of the gas explosion Saturday night.

In an interview with spoke to Adom News’ Kwame Kulenu,  she explained that, the three were stealing from shops and other properties deserted at the Atomic junction gas explosion site when they were accosted.

DSP Buckman said they are currently in custody at the Madina police station and would be arranged before court on Monday October 9,2017.

She also noted that security personnel have be deployed to the area to protect life and properties and to also control traffic.
