President John Mahama will hold discussions with French President Francois Hollande at the Elysee Palace in Paris today.
It will be the second of such meeting by the two leaders, the first during an official visit to France by President Mahama in 2013.
The meeting, which will be followed by a Joint Press Conference at the Elysee Palace, is expected to focus on a number of global issues and Franceâs continued support for Ghanaâs developmental programmes through the French Development Agency (AfD).
The discussions between the two leaders will precede Ghanaâs official acceptance as a member of the Development Centre of the OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development).
Ghana will become the 35Â OECD member country and part of a league of nations that regularly turn to one another to identify, discuss and analyze problems, and promote policies to solve them.
President Mahama will also hold discussions while in Paris with the Director General of UNESCO and address the Permanent Representatives of the Commission, open an Emerging Markets Meeting on Africa and hold meetings with French investors.
