Blakk Rasta to appear before privileges committee on June 25

In a letter signed by Ebenezer Ahumah Djietror, Prinicpal Assistant Clerk, the presenter is expected to appear as a witness before the committee to assist in investigation of contemptuous remarks allegedly made.

Controversial radio presenter and reggae musician, Blakk Rasta has finally been summoned to appear before the Privileges Committee of Parliament for some comments he made that suggested 80% of Ghanaian parliamentarians smoke “Wee”.

A publication on adomonline.com quoted the host of Hitz FM’s show to have said that, “There are about 80% of parliamentarians who smoke weed so why do people think those who smoke marijuana go mad.”

In a letter signed by Ebenezer Ahumah Djietror, Principal Assistant Clerk, Blakk Rasta, real name Abubakar Ahmed is expected to appear as a witness before the committee on Thursday, June 25 at 1pm to assist in investigation of contemptuous remarks allegedly made on his show.
