Body parts of bald men being used for money rituals

Two suspects have confessed to the killing of bald men, whose body parts were to be used for money rituals by witch doctors.

After a spate of killings, police in Mozambique are warning about the use of bald men for money rituals.

In one case, the head of a bald man was cut off and his organs removed in what the police suspect to be a case of rituals. That is because, the killings have happened in a part of the country where albinos have previously been hunted for the body parts for rituals.

According to the spokesperson for the Mozambique police force, Inacio Dina, two people have been arrested in connection to two separate murders.

In recent times, many men have opted to go bald as part of a fashion statement. Ghanaian musician and broadcaster, Trigmatic is one of them.

According to the online health advisory, Health line, male pattern baldness, also called androgenic alopecia, is the most common type of hair loss in men. One cause of male pattern baldness is genetics, or having a family history of baldness.

Research has found that male pattern baldness is associated with male sex hormones called androgens. The androgens have many functions including regulating hair growth.
