IDK about you, but it feels like I've seen every iteration of the "1o-year challenge"-most of which just prove that everyone is aging pretty damn well. But then a pregnant Jessica Simpson stepped up to the plate and dropped the funniest challenge photo yet.

In the Instagram photo , which Jessica posted Thursday night, she shows a shot of her ankles from 10 years ago, and a shot of her (super-swollen) ankles now. Of course, Jessica simply captioned it "#tenyearchallenge."

Jessica, who's pregnant with her third child, first revealed her swollen ankles in another Instagram photo she posted last week. "Any remedies?! Help!!!!" she wrote at the time.

For the record, foot and ankle swelling is very normal during pregnancy (though it may come with a side effect of pre-pregnancy foot envy). The swelling happens because of extra fluid retention, hormonal changes, and pressure from your uterus on your veins, which impairs the return of blood to your heart, Christine Greves, M.D., a board-certified ob/gyn, told Women's Health.

There are, however, certain situations when the swelling could be the sign of preeclampsia, a serious and potentially fatal pregnancy complication. With preeclampsia, you'll also have other symptoms like high blood pressure, headaches, blurred vision, and upper abdominal pain, per the National Institutes of Health .

There are a few things you (and Jessica) can do to relieve the swelling a bit, including propping your feet up with pillows while you sleep, avoiding standing for long periods of time, resting or sleeping on your left side, and wearing compression stockings or support hose.

Youll also want to do your best to limit your caffeine and sodium intake, since both can make you retain water. And, of course, you can take a page out of Jessicas book and just have a good laugh about the whole thing.
