NDC officer vanishes after allegedly impregnating daughter & aborting the pregnancy

According to Adomonline.com, Kwasi Dawood’s daughter has accused him of having sex with her multiple times, leading to a pregnancy.

It is reported that after allegedly impregnating his daughter, Dawood got a quack doctor by name, Dr Arthur Mensah to terminate the pregnancy, which led to the victim bleeding for several days.

The police are searching for him to answer for preliminary charges of rape, incest, abortion, and assault of his biological daughter.

Meanwhile, Dr Arthur Mensah is reportedly in the custody of the police as an accomplice while a search continues for Dawood.

The mother of the victim has disclosed in a petition to the Central Regional Police Command that the suspect has had incestuous sex with his daughter since she was 15 years old.

“The father, Mr Kwesi Dawood, has been forcibly having sexual affair with the daughter since at the age of fifteen years (Incest) and even had an abortion with her and warned her not to inform anyone else he will make her life miserable,” the petition reads in part.

Mavis Ayitey said in the petition that her daughter could not withstand her father’s sexual assault anymore, so she confided it in her school’s Housemaster on the 24th of August, 2021.

The said Housemaster called Dawood on the phone and questioned him about his daughter’s claim and he admitted to the crime.

The Housemaster went ahead to invite the victim’s grandmother under whose guardianship she was at Sweduru and informed her about the victim’s ordeal.

The victim’s unhappy mother filed a formal complaint with the Central Agona Swedru District DOVVSU office on August 31, 2021.

The DOVVSU officials gave the victim a medical form to visit the Swedru Government Hospital for examination and “on vaginal examination, the hymen was broken”.

The suspect has reportedly declined to honour the invitation by DOVVSU and vanished instead.

Meanwhile, the suspect has been reportedly suspended indefinitely pending a police investigation into the matter.
