Ghanaian afro soul/pop singer, Irene Logan has revealed that her father died after being shot six times by armed robbers.
The “Run Away” hitmaker is known to be a very passionate person when it comes to issues of humanity.
In a series of tweets, the singer condemned the gruesome and unwarranted murder of Captain Maxwell Mahama, while also revealing how her father lost his life.

Captain Mahama was the victim of a mob attack on Monday, after being mistaken to be an armed robber in Denkyira-Obuasi.
The military man was subsequently lynched, with the residents refusing to have none of his pleas.
A lot of heartfelt tributes have poured in since the news broke, and Irene has added her voice, describing the mob attack on the soldier as action filled “with so much hate”.

The one-time ‘Stars of the Future’ winner first wrote: “We hide behind blaming other nationalities when there's truancy!... I guess we are not angels after all.”
In another tweet she revealed the tragic circumstances that led to the death of her father.
Irene Logan tweeted: “My dad was shot 6times at close range by armed robbers. I was angry, I’m angry but have never picked up a stick/stone to hit any one called thief.”
