The national U-17 team of Ghana ahead of their Sunday’s CAF U-17 qualifier against Burkina Faso have switched camp to Cape Coast, where the game will take place.
And the gaffer for the former African champions spoke with Pulse Sports ahead of the weekend’s crucial first leg qualifier.
“When the young guys were in camp, they had never seen the president [Kwesi Nyantakyi] before and even the Black Stars coach,” Fabien told Pulse.com.gh.
“We were in camp together with the U-20’s, the president visited the U-20’s but he came without the Black Stars coach.”
“For the president to visit us with the Black Stars coach was very motivating and the boys was very happy to see the president and the head coach of the Black Stars who had some complimentary words for the boys. They sat throughout our training programme and they were very happy with what they saw and Avram Grant voiced out and told them they are very talented and he is expecting that in the next four years they will be in the Black Stars.”
