Former Ghana Premier League top scorer Latif Blessing has disclosed how his career almost ended prematurely after he was rejected by Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
Blessing explained that he thought he was good for nothing when he wasn’t given the chance to train during a justify at Kotoko and the worst part of it was that he was asked to hand over his jersey to another player and ended up bare-chested on the bench.
Latif Blessing was however handed an opportunity at Liberty Professionals which would see him win the Ghana Premier League goal king cum best player in his second season, after bagging 17 goals.

"I went to Kotoko for justify after someone recommended me to them," he said.
"For two days, they didn't even let me train but what broke my heart is that the jersey I wore was taken from me and was given to another player so I had to sit bare-chested.
"I regretted and thought I wasn't good enough so told my mum to buy a taxi for me to drive".

Meanwhile, Latif Blessing has hinted of a U.S nationality switch if the North Americans come calling due to continues snub by national team handlers, despite his impeccable form with U.S outfit Kansas City.
