English Premier League club Manchester United have started talks with Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino as they club intensify their search for Louis van Gaal’s replacement.
Former Chelsea boss Jose Mourihno has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford since his departure from Stamford Bridge in December.
Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola was also mentioned to be the next Old Trafford boss until Manchester City officially announced him replacing Manuel Pellegrini next season.
According to SunSport, Manchester United chiefs are talking to the representatives of Porchettino. The team is also having similar conversations with former FC Porto, Inter Milan and Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho who wants to take over at Old Trafford as his next job after the Chelsea sack.
Louis van Gaal has constantly come under pressure this season at Manchester United. The club were eliminated from the UEFA Champions League in the group stages and are struggling to get into top four in the English Premier League.
