Ghana defeated Gabon 5-0 on Wednesday at the Port Gentil Sports Stadium to reach their first FIFA World up since Korea 2007.

The Starlets had to wait until the 25 minute to break the deadlock of the game. The skipper of the Black Starlets Eric Ayiah took on his marker and he was brought down in the 18-yard box. He stepped up for the spot kick and he finished it off completely.

Emmanuel Toku registered the second goal in the 32 minute- He capitalized on a defensive blunder from the Gabonese.
