C.K Akunnor believes his charges will continue their fabulous performance in the second round when they meet the Porcupine Warriors.
Asante Kotoko have been struggling to grind out good results in the second half of the league; they have won just one in 7 league games, while Dreams FC have won 4 of their 7 away league games.
Kotoko were the only side that defeated Dreams FC at home on match day 7 at Dawu. However, C.K Akunnor has stated that the situation in the first half of the league is different from now.
"The situation at the moment is different from what happened in the first round when we met Kotoko. They were doing well at the time, but in the second round they have lost about three games, while we are doing so well," he told Happy FM.
"But Kotoko have what it takes to turn things around, so we will not be swollen headed.
“There is no pressure on the team. They should pass well, play well and enjoy the game
"We have the ability to do well against every team. We are one of the best away performers this season, so we can do it in Kumasi."
