Cable News Network (CNN) has come in for criticism after it falsely reported that Ghanaians struggle to obtain food and social services.
But added that: "Oil reverses were discovered off the coast of Ghana in 2007, but Ghanaians struggle to obtain food and day-to-day services. Rolling blackout is common and citizens often stand in long line to obtain product."
Shockingly, authors of the story filed it from Lagos, Nigeria and Atlanta, USA.
Ghanaians have taken to twitter to blast the report as horrible and false representation of situations in Ghana under the hashtag #CNNGetitRight

Host of Joy FM's "Drive time," Lexis Bill descried the report as concoction.
"So CNN your reporters sat in Lagos and Atlanta to concoct this shameful fallacy and you approved it. Unbelievable. CNNGetItRight," he tweeted.
And others followed
The network has since edited the story to reflect the true state in the country.
