Ghanaian player turns up to training driving a GH¢ 545,000 BMW i8

Ghanaian player Jeffrey Schlupp showed up in training in some style as he drove the GH¢ 545, 000 BMW i8 from Leicester City owner.

The Black Stars player showed up in training in a 545, 000 Ghana cedis car after club owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha delivered on his promise of buying cars for his English Premier League title winning players.

The Leicester City owner bought a BMW i8 for each of the current Leicester City players who helped the team win the English Premier League title under Claudio Ranieri last season.

The BMW i8 has a starting price of GH¢385, 000. Reports however indicate the ones bought for Jeffrey Sclupp, Daniel Amartey and the other Leicester City players is worth a whopping GH¢ 545, 000.

Jeffrey Schlupp was all smiles as he showed up in training ahead of Leicester’s game against Manchester United. The Ghana international stopped at the entrance of the training grounds to sign some autographs before going train.

Joe Dodoo, a Ghanaian player will miss out on the cars despite being a Leicester City player for last season before joining Scottish club Rangers.

Andrej Kramaric, Yohan Benalouane and new Chelsea player N’Golo Kante are the other players who are set to miss out on the BMW i8 too.
