Man on the run as lover dies in Lagos hotel
A man has been declared wanted after he left the corpse of a woman he took to a hotel for sex and fled.

According to a statement from the Command, the man had checked into Taola Hotel located on Prince Adeyemi Street in the area, ostensibly to have sex with the woman at about 9.30pm on Friday, July 15, and was supposed to check out at 10.30pm.
But when the staff waited for them to come out at the expected time, they felt he had changed his mind and stayed longer with the intention of paying for the extra time later but when it was 12 am and the man and his lover had not checked out, the manager of the hotel identified as Ahmadu, went to knock on the room only to find the door open.

On opening, the manager was shocked to discover that the woman was dead, while the man, who brought her was nowhere to be found.
The matter was reported at the Ikotun Police Division, and officers went to the hotel to evacuate the body of the woman which has been deposited in a morgue.
