‘I learn from Mensa Otabil’ – Shatta Wale reveals

Shatta Wale may be known to be a controversial figure but it appears he also makes time for the Gospel.

Dancehall artiste Charles Nii Armah, known in showbiz as Shatta Wale, has indicated that he takes lessons from Pastor Mensa Otabil.

The self-acclaimed ‘dancehall king’ may be known to be a controversial figure but it appears he also makes time for the Gospel.

Shatta Wale normally likes to include in his lyrics God’s deeds in his life, with his popular ‘ayoo’ song a case in study.

It is unknown which church he attends, but the dancehall musician has indicated that he learns from the founder of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC).

In a Twitter post, Shatta Wale referred to Pastor Otabil as “Daddy”, while revealing that he has learned about God’s unfailing nature from the preacher.

Shatta Wale wrote: “Today I learnt one thing from Pastor Mensa Otabil… ‘God never fails his children’..God bless you daddy ...”

It is clear from the post that Shatta Wale is a big fan of Pastor Otabil, but it remains to be seen if he would consider joining the ICGC.
