Bukom Banku and Samir Bastie exchange words ahead of massive bout

Undefeated boxers Bukom Banku and Samir Bastie have laid down the gauntlet ahead of their massive fight on Saturday.

The duo have been talking big, with both targeting victory in what has been described as the fight of the year.

Boxing fans in the country have been longing to see the two boxers take on each other in the ring, with their clash being postponed on countless times in the past months.

However, on Saturday October 21, 2017, Bukom Banku and Samir Bastie will have the chance to settle the debate on who the better boxer is.

The pair will face-off at the Bukom Boxing Arena in Accra, with a sizable crowd anticipated to show up for the bout.

Ahead of the fight, both boxers have been engulfed in a war of words. Bukom Banku in an interview with Starr Sports described his opponent as a “coconut seller” who cannot match him.

In a sharp riposte, Samir Bastie also referred to Bukom Banku as a “comedian” who should not see himself as a boxing champion.

The exchanges have since continued, with both men bragging about their records and aiming for victory come Saturday.

With the duo all undefeated, it remains to be seen who among them will be able to back his words up with words when the bell rings for the start of the bout.
