Christian Atsu aiming to add goals to his game

The winger wants to improve by adding goals to his game.

The Ghana international is having a fruitful season in the Premier League, and already has a goal and an assist to his name.

The 25-year-old, though, has been often criticised for his poor goal record, with his best return coming during his days with Rio Ave, where he scored six goals.

However, the former Chelsea winger is determined to change the narrative, saying he is working towards adding goals to his game.

“I was getting treatment during the international break. After some time, I got better and was training with the team. I’m just back,” Atsu told the club’s official website.

Atsu has made eight appearances for Newcastle United this season after joining the club on a permanent deal in the summer.
