FIFA president congratulates Aduana Stars for winning GPL
Gianni Infantino has congratulated Aduana Stars for winning the GPL.

The Dormaa-based club won their second league trophy after beating Elmina Sharks 2-1 at home last week.
The win ensured that Aduana opened a seven-point gap on second-placed WAFA, with just a game to end the season.

Aduana’s exploits have been duly recognized by the world’s football governing body, who have congratulated the club, through its president Infantino.

“It gives me great pleasure to send my warmest congratulations to Aduana Stars FC for their second championship title!,” a letter from the FIFA president, addressed to GFA boss Kwesi Nyantakyi read. “This title is the result of determination of everyone involved and my congratulations go to the players, the coach, the administration, the entire technical and medical staff as well as the fans for this great achievement.” “On behalf of the entire football community, I would like to thank Aduana Stars FC and your association for helping to spread the positive message of football.”
CEO of the newly crowned champions Albert Commey, reciprocated by thanking Infantino for his congratulatory message, while adding that Aduana Stars will “work harder each day to achieve more in our future football competitions”.
