Ekow Asmah, a veteran journalist has revealed that he trained the Communications director of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to become a journalist at a time he was a serial caller.
“Sannie Daara was a serial caller, but I gave him the opportunity in journalism at the time I was with radio gold. I trained him from a serial caller to a BBC trained journalist,” he told Happy FM.
“But at the moment he has done what I couldn’t do, rising from being a journalist to a football administrator,”

Sanie Daara aside Radio Gold worked with Choice FM, before he secured a dream job at BBC.
Daara left his job and accepted an offer from the Ghana Football Association as the Communications director of the GFA.
