Bradley Davies is determined to win titles on his return to Pro12 with Ospreys.

The 29-year-old lock agreed a National Dual Contract with Wales and Ospreys this month, ending his two-year spell with Premiership side Wasps.

"I want to come back and compete and be winning titles," Davies told the Wales Rugby Union website.

"I thought Ospreys would give me the best chance of that. Having played against them for eight or 10 years, they've always been the best team in Wales in my view and that's something I'd like to get involved with."

His final outing for Wasps proved a painful one, with Saturday's 34-23 semi-final play-off defeat to Exeter Chiefs ending hopes of an ideal send-off.

Davies added: "Obviously that was a bit gutting. We got ourselves back to 27-23, attacking, and we just didn't quite nail the opportunities. Then they got the ball, kept it down the other end and scored a try, so there wasn't much in the game but Exeter did enough.

"But looking back on the season, we can be proud of where we came from if we look at the progression we made. Last season we were sixth, this year we were third."

Davies, who previously represented Cardiff Blues, has won 54 caps for Wales.
