Her lawyer eventually convinced her to withdraw the filing and the couple divorced. "I felt used, so I filed for an annulment. That was my best chance to get him deported," she said on 90 Day Fianc: Happily Ever After? "But when he begged me to file for a divorce instead, I gave in so he could stay in America." TLC

When Brett's mom refused to go to the wedding. Season 2 couple Brett Otto and Daya De Arce met online. Daya, who is from the Philippines, found a job in the U.S., and the two got their own apartment. When she moved to be with him, Mark surprised her with a car that he told her was the same make and model as the car that he put a deposit on for his first wife. In season 3, Loren made it clear that she likes nice things and pushed Alexei to be a model. But Alexei, who was a medic in Israel, wanted to be a firefighter, paramedic, or policeman. TLC

They met after he contacted her on Facebook, and he took her on an expensive European vacation. But he balked when she wanted him to buy her a $10,000 handbag and they split, only to later reconcile. Anfisa, who is from Moscow, eventually joined Jorge in the U.S., but they lived in a hoteland she wasn't impressed. (It was later revealed that Jorge's marijuana-trafficking history made it hard for him to rent an apartment.) TLC

When Anfisa keyed Jorge's car. Jorge was understandably upset when Anfisa keyed the word "idiot" into his car. "She sent me a text saying she did something to my car," he said in the season 4 Tell All special. "I asked her what, and she didn't tell me. And as I'm inspecting it, she keyed 'idiot' into the driver's door." Anfisa later said she didn't regret it. TLC

When Azan talked about Nicole's weight. Azan Tefou and Nicole Nafziger first connected online, but didn't meet up in person until Nicole decided to take a five-week trip to Morocco to meet him during season 4. When they met at the airport, Azan said that Nicole is "big...a little bit." Nicole later said she would lose weight, but Azan became annoyed when he caught her hoarding sweets. TLC

When Nicole wouldn't let up on the PDA. Even though Azan told Nicole that it's unacceptable in his culture for unmarried couples to show physical affection, Nicole kept trying to hug and kiss him. The result: He kept getting irritated, and Nicole felt rejected. TLC

When Jonathan canceled Fernanda's paperwork. Season 6 couple Jonathan Rivera and Fernanda Flores met while vacationing in her native Mexico. The two got married, but separated just months later. Jonathan has since canceled her green card paperwork. TLC

When Kalani's family wasn't having it. Kalani Faagata met Asuelu Pulaa while she was on a vacation to his native Samoa. She lost her virginity to him and ended up becoming pregnant. While Kalani gave birth to their son in January, her family was super suspicious of Asuelu's motives during season 6 of the show. TLC
